Privacy policy
Updated: 29 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled when you visit marionerard.com, use the homepage call-brief tool, contact me or book a conversation.
1. Who is responsible?
Marion Erard
Independent Brand Strategy Consultant
Zurich, Switzerland
Website: www.marionerard.com
Email: contact@marionerard.com
For privacy enquiries or requests concerning your personal information, please contact me at the email address above.
2. Information processed through the website
Homepage call-brief tool
The three-step call-brief tool asks for your challenge, first name and work email, and optionally your company. When you select “Generate my brief”, these details are stored in the website’s database so I can review your enquiry and follow up about a possible consultation.
An optional, unticked checkbox lets you ask for occasional updates. Your choice and the time you gave it are recorded separately; no mailing-list subscription is created automatically. After successful generation, the saved brief is shown on screen and sent to your submitted email address through Brevo, with a booking link. Marion receives an email containing your name, email, optional company, original challenge, complete brief and recorded marketing choice. If sending fails, the on-screen brief remains available.
Email enquiries
If you contact me by email, I receive the information you choose to provide and use it to respond to your enquiry and manage any subsequent professional correspondence.
Appointment booking
When you open the booking interface, the website loads an embedded Cal.com scheduling service. Cal.com receives technical connection information and may use cookies or browser storage.
Information you submit in the calendar is processed by Cal.com to arrange your meeting with Marion Erard. The inspected booking form requests your name and email address and includes optional phone-number and notes fields. It also contains a meeting-title field. Please avoid confidential business information or sensitive personal data.
The inspected calendar lists Google Meet as the meeting service.
Cal.com describes its processing in its privacy policy.
Technical information
The website and its service providers may process technical information needed for operation, security and error handling, including connection information and server logs.
3. Why information is processed
Personal information is processed, as applicable, to:
- Respond to direct enquiries and professional correspondence.
- Prepare and email your requested call brief and notify Marion of your enquiry.
- Enable appointment scheduling through Cal.com.
- Operate, maintain and secure the website.
- Meet applicable legal obligations.
Brief emails and enquiry notifications are sent in response to your request, regardless of the optional marketing checkbox. The checkbox records your preference separately; this tool does not create a marketing subscription or send marketing emails.
4. AI-assisted processing
To prepare your on-screen brief, your challenge and company (if given) are sent through Lovable AI Gateway to an AI model provider. Your name and email are not sent to the AI model. The generated brief is saved with your enquiry.
The brief is an AI-assisted first perspective, not a completed brand assessment. Please do not include confidential information.
5. Service providers and recipients
The website uses or connects to the following services:
- Lovable: Website hosting and infrastructure.
- Cal.com: Embedded scheduling and appointment management.
- Google Meet: Listed as the meeting service in the booking calendar.
- Email services: Handling direct email enquiries and professional correspondence.
- Brevo: Sending the requested brief to you and the enquiry notification to Marion. Brevo processes recipient and sender addresses, the email content described above, and sending/delivery information. See Brevo’s privacy policy.
The account-specific connected calendar services and full infrastructure-provider arrangements have not been confirmed.
6. Cookies and browser storage
The website's own application did not create cookies or local-storage entries during the audited initial visit.
When the embedded Cal.com booking interface was opened, the audit observed a __cf_bm cookie and a reserverUid local-storage entry associated with the booking service.
Cloudflare describes __cf_bm as a bot-management cookie that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. The audit did not establish the purpose or retention period of Cal.com’s reserverUid entry. Local storage can persist between visits until it is removed by the service or cleared in your browser.
See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation and Cal.com’s privacy policy for the providers’ descriptions.
The inspected launch application has no active Google Analytics integration or advertising pixel. The booking service is third-party content and its behaviour is separate from this website’s own application.
7. Storage, retention and international processing
Call-brief enquiries (contact details, challenge, generated brief and marketing choice) are stored in the website’s database, hosted through Lovable Cloud, for Marion to review. The website also records each email attempt’s status, time, provider message ID and any sending error. Brevo acceptance is not a guarantee of inbox arrival. Historical briefs are not emailed automatically.
Email correspondence and appointment records are handled through the relevant email and booking services. Website infrastructure may also retain operational or security records.
Exact retention periods for correspondence, appointments, hosting logs and the observed booking storage have not been confirmed for this service configuration. No fixed deletion period is promised here.
Cloudflare’s cookie documentation states that cookie data may by default be processed in the United States. The complete processing countries and applicable international-transfer safeguards for this website’s hosting, email and Cal.com account configuration have not been confirmed. This policy does not promise that information stays in Switzerland.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable data protection law, you may request access to personal information held about you, correction of inaccurate information and deletion where applicable.
You may also exercise other rights available under applicable law, including requesting information about relevant processing and withdrawing consent where consent applies.
To submit a request, contact: contact@marionerard.com
You may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or another competent data protection authority where applicable.
9. External services
When you interact with external services such as Cal.com, LinkedIn or WhatsApp, those services may independently process information under their own privacy terms.
Opening the Cal.com booking interface loads third-party content within this website, even before you confirm an appointment.
10. Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated when website functionality, service providers or data-processing practices change.
The current version will be made available on marionerard.com.
